Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Vidplum ("Vidplum", "we", the service at vidplum.com) for your use of vidplum.com. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
The service
Vidplum turns the descriptions you provide into videos, using AI to plan the narration and scenes, draw key frames, animate and render the video, and generate voiceover and music. Features may change as we improve the product.
Your account
You're responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU) to use Vidplum.
Your content and your videos
- You keep all rights to the text and materials you submit.
- Videos you pay for are yours to use, including commercially — in ads, websites, courses and social media — without attribution. Videos carry no watermark.
- You give us permission to store and process your content only as needed to provide the service to you.
- Please download and keep your own copy of each finished video. Making a video again uses video time again.
- AI can make mistakes. Review your plan and video before publishing; you're responsible for what you publish.
Acceptable use
Don't use Vidplum to create content that is illegal, infringes others' rights, impersonates real people or organisations, harasses or misleads people, or promotes violence or hate. Don't try to overload, reverse-engineer or misuse the service. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
Payments
Signing up and planning a video are free; making a video requires payment. Each account can buy one video for a one-time $2.99 (up to 5 minutes): it is non-refundable and starts being made as soon as payment goes through. Paid plans are monthly or yearly subscriptions billed in advance by Stripe. Each plan includes a number of minutes of video per billing period; you pay for the final length of each video, rounded up to 5 seconds, as shown on our pricing page. When you confirm a video, its estimated length is set aside and the unused remainder is given back; if a video fails, nothing is charged. Planning, changes to the plan and the included changes after a video is made don't use video time. Plan minutes reset each billing period and don't roll over. Extra time bought separately never expires and is used after your plan minutes. Video time has no cash value. You can cancel anytime; your plan stays active until the end of the paid period. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
Invite friends
Every account has an invite link. When someone opens it, signs up within 60 days and makes a first purchase of at least $8.99, they get 10 extra minutes of video time right away, and the person who invited them gets 20 minutes of video time 14 days after that purchase. Invite rewards are video time, not money; they never expire and can't be exchanged for cash. A reward isn't given when the purchase is refunded, or when the two accounts share a device or network or otherwise appear to belong to the same person. Each account can earn up to 10 invite rewards in any 30 days. We may change or end the invite program at any time; rewards already earned stay in your account.
Availability and liability
We work to keep Vidplum running, but the service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Ending your use
You can stop using Vidplum and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may end or suspend access for breaches of these terms.
Governing law
If you have a concern, please email us first at hello@vidplum.com — most issues can be resolved quickly. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer laws of the country where you live.
